In November the Northern York County Regional Police investigated a home invasion robbery in the 700 block of South Mountain Road in Franklin Township.
The 67 year old male victim advised that around 0030 hours he awoke to see someone standing in his living room.  A short scuffle ensued and the victim was able to push the person out of the home and lock the door.  Moments later the suspect kicked open the front door and pointed something at the victim and demanded money.  The victim gave the robber money he had in his wallet and the robber fled the home on foot.  Witnesses described seeing a small car(unknown make and color) leaving the area after the robbery.
The robber was described as a male wearing a gray sweatshirt and a bandanna across his face.
This home invasion does not appear to be a random act.  Investigation
ON GARD DOOR JAMB Review indicates that the victim was targeted for this robbery and that the robber is probably someone that the victim has had prior contact with.
